GBV Prevention Marathon

GENDER- BASED VIOLENCE (GBV) OR in Swahili Ukatili wa Kijinsia has been a known phrase over the years. Reports and Surveys have shown devastating statistics of how communities are suffering from different types of Gender-Based Violence. In recognition of this Gender Action Tanzania (GATA) as an NGO, we believe that gender equality and equity is a fundamental human right therefore we thrive to support women and men in Tanzania.

Our Projects

P2P Project

The overall goal of P2P – Gold is to achieve a thriving Artisanal and Small-Scale Gold Mining sector that is economically profitable, socially responsible, and environmentally sound by 2029. The project interventions will be conducted to the Artisanal and Small-Scale Gold Miners (ASGM) in the 60 mine sites in the 5 districts namely, Bukombe, Chato, Geita, Mbogwe and Nyangwale in Geita region and others in Kahama, Msalala and Shinyanga districts in Shinyanga region.
